Question 1

How much do maths grinds cost in Ireland?

Accepted Answer

Add your real rates here. State them plainly: pages that hide pricing lose enquiries to ones that do not.

Question 2

Are LC maths grinds worth it for Higher Level?

Accepted Answer

For most students the question is whether they can hold Higher Level for the 25 bonus CAO points. Grinds are usually worth it when the gap is specific, such as calculus or exam technique, rather than a general dislike of the subject.

Question 3

When should we start junior certificate maths grinds?

Accepted Answer

Second or third year is ideal. Junior Cycle is where gaps in algebra and fractions start compounding. Fixing them then is far easier than at Leaving Cert, and it keeps Higher Level open as a realistic option.

Question 4

Do online maths grinds actually work?

Accepted Answer

For maths, yes. A shared digital whiteboard that both people write on makes working through a problem together essentially identical to sitting at the same table, and it removes travel time for both sides.

Question 5

How often should a student have grinds?

Accepted Answer

Once a week is the norm and is enough for most students. Twice weekly makes sense in the run-up to the mocks or the Leaving Cert itself, or when rebuilding foundations from a long way back.

Question 6

Can you help a student drop from Higher to Ordinary Level?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and sometimes that is the honest advice. If Higher Level is costing a student marks across their other subjects, a strong Ordinary Level result can be worth more than a weak Higher one. We will tell you straight either way.

Question 7

What areas of Ireland do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Every county in Ireland. All grinds are online, so where you live makes no difference to what you get.
