Maths Grinds Meath

Meath has grown fast, and its schools have grown with it. Navan, Ashbourne, Ratoath and Dunboyne have all expanded substantially, and large class sizes are the normal experience for a Meath student sitting Higher Level maths.

Get in touch

A class of thirty moving at the pace the syllabus demands leaves very little room for a student who missed something in 4th year. Most Meath students who come looking for grinds are not weak at maths. They lost the thread at a specific point and the class never stopped.

Like Kildare, a lot of the county commutes, and a lot of students travel a fair distance to school already. Adding an evening drive to a grinds class on top of that is often the thing that makes it not happen. The students who most need the extra hour tend to be the ones with the least time to spend travelling for it.

Meath students generally arrive with reasonable exam technique and a clear gap. Finding exactly where the thread was lost is usually a single session's work.
